Youth Leader Corps (YLC)

Kick off your 2012 by signing up for the Youth Leader Corps!

Are you between the ages of 12 – 18 and want to build your leadership and life skills while meeting new friends and supporting YMCA programs? Consider YLC!

The YMCA Youth Leader Corps combines leadership training, teamwork, self-government, and volunteer placement to help build confidence-and connections.

The Corps can open doors for you, giving you the opportunity to:

• Meet other youth
• Build new skills
• Participate in your community
• Earn volunteer hours

Develop yourself while getting involved in your community. The YMCA Youth Leader Corps lets you do both!

Completion of this winter session of YLC may include attendance at the YMCA Annual Youth Leadership Conference held at Camp Elphinstone on the Sunshine Coast this spring. YLC volunteers will work on group activities, personal goal setting, community initiative programs, fundraisers, and YMCA Healthy Kids Day.
