Youth Around Prince (YAP)

Located at 1160 7th Avenue, Prince George, BC.

Youth Around Prince (YAP) is a youth-led downtown resource centre for all youth in Prince George. We offer front-line services such as showers, laundry, a kitchen, phone, mailing address, photocopier, fax machine, and computer access free of charge. Many agencies within YAP offer different programs and opportunities such as pre-employment training, youth-led forum theatre, one-on-one and group counseling, and more.

YAP Healthy Options

Healthy Options provides health and wellness-based programming to youth aged 16-24 in Prince George. The program includes a free drop-in lunch at YAP, cooking classes, free youth drop in at the YMCA, and more. Healthy Options also offers one-on-one sessions and group outreach around health issues for youth.
