JC Hoover Holdings
The Family YMCA of Prince George's relationship with JC Hoover began in 2011 when they joined the YMCA as presenting sponsor of the 2011 Y Champions Hockey Weekend. "Jordy Hoover and his staff have been quietly supporting many local charities over the years", says Mark Miller, YMCA CEO. "Their involvement with last fall's Y Champions Hockey Weekend and now the Strong Kids campaign brings our relationship with them full circle."
JC Hoover Holdings consists of a variety of local businesses in the hospitality, industrial and social sectors. "As a local business owner, we are often called upon to support a multitude of charitable causes - all worthy in their own way and make our city a great place to live", says Jordy Hoover, President. "The Family YMCA offers programs that are essential to the health and wellness of children and families in Prince George - helping them help others is a responsibility we take seriously."

The Family YMCA’s partnership with Canadian Tire began with JumpStart and now includes Healthy Kids Day, Y Champions Hockey Weekend and the YMCA Road Race.

Their annual donation of hundreds of tasty pitas to Healthy Kids Day in addition to an untold number of volunteer hours on our Board of Directors and YMCA programs confirms Extreme Pita’s commitment to the YMCA's efforts in our community.

FortisBC (a.k.a Terasen Gas) has been an on-going supporter of the Family YMCA with generous financial, and even human resources. "Fortis BC corporate is a financial supporter of the YMCA as well as their employees, through their Warm Hearts Charitable Foundation," says Mark Miller, CEO.
Jim Pattison Broadcast Group
When the Jim Pattison Broadcast Group advertises a Family YMCA activity, everyone in Prince George knows about it! CKPG TV, 101.3 The River and 99.3 The Drive, have contributed thousands of broadcast and production hours to YMCA events such as Healthy Kids Day and the Y Champions Hockey Weekend.
Intact Insurance
Camp Kanannaq has received financial assistance the last two years from this foundation ensuring that local, under-privileged children also have the opportunity to attend a fun-filled, summer camp.
Integris Credit Union
Integris Credit Union has been involved with the Family YMCA of Prince George since 2008 when they came on board as the Presenting Sponsor for Healthy Kids Day. They returned as Presenting Sponsor for Healthy Kids Day in 2009 & 2010 and have joined us in other activities including the recent First Annual Y Champions Hockey Weekend.
Rotary
Rotary has been an integral part of the Family YMCA when they made a generous donation to the Massey building capital campaign way back in 1974. Current programs supported by Rotary include Healthy Kids Day and YAP.
Save On Foods
Healthy Kids Day is home to the Save On Foods Healthy BBQ where store staff grill up tasty hot dogs and distribute healthy snacks such as granola bars and fruit!
Telus
Telus is one of the founding corporate donors of the Family Y, beginning with their donation to the 1974 Massey building capital campaign.
Vancouver Foundation
Despite the name, the Vancouver Foundation has been very supportive of our activities in Prince George specifically Camp Kanannaq.
Wood Wheaton Supercentre
One of Prince George's busiest automobile dealerships and our newest community partner, Wood Wheaton joined the YMCA at last October's Y Champions Hockey Weekend as exclusive Presenting Sponsor.
