YMCA Healthy Kids Day & YMCA Road Race 2010

On behalf of the YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2010 & YMCA Road Race 2010 Committee I would like to say thank you to all who helped make YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2010 such a success.

YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2010 was host to over 400 marathon runners and the YMCA Road Race saw over 500 racers complete a BC sanctioned race. Most importantly, an estimated 6,000 participants took part in healthy and engaging activities while enjoying a healthy lunch.

The YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2010 also hosted over 25 exhibitors and was recently dubbed “Happy Kids Day” by Faith, age 3. With the generous support of our sponsors, YMCA staff members, and our many volunteers we made healthy habits fun for thousands of children and were able to further educate local families on the importance of healthy eating and activities.

Finally, the Family YMCA is deeply grateful to the Prince George community for your support of YMCA initiatives, programs, and mission. Thanks to your ongoing support we continue to build strong kids, strong families, and strong communities.
