Transportation Program

The Family YMCA of Prince George’s After School Care Transportation Program helps parents get their children between school and their YMCA After School Care program location.

The Transportation Program serves the following schools:

  • Cedars Christian School
  • College Heights Elementary
  • École Lac Des Bois
  • École Franco-Nord
  • Edgewood  Elementary
  • Foothills Elementary
  • Hart Highlands Elementary
  • Heritage Elementary
  • Heather Park Elementary
  • Highglen Montessori
  • Malaspina Elementary
  • Pinewood Elementary

 
  • Quinson Elementary
  • Spruceland Elementary
  • Westwood Elementary
  • Peden Hill Elementary
  • Harwin Elementary
  • Ron Brent Elementary
  • South Ridge Elementary
  • St. Mary’s Catholic School
  • Immaculate Conception Catholic School
  • Sacred Heart Catholic School
  • Van Bien Elementary

Transportation is only available for children registered in a YMCA After School Care program. Space is limited.

The Transportation program runs according to regular School District #57 dismissal times. Parents/guardians are responsible for making advance arrangements (at least one week) with the Y for any irregular dismissal times (i.e. report card days). The YMCA will make accommodations when possible. The YMCA does not provide refunds for irregular dismissal days.
