CCRR provides services and support to child care providers and parents in Prince George and the surrounding region. The objective of the program is to enhance the availability and quality of child care services by providing information, support, resources as well as referral services to families and child care providers across our region.
The Prince George CCRR is operated by the Family YMCA of Prince George and funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
Are you caring for one or two children in your home? If so, you are considered a Licensed Not Required (LNR) Care Provider. Register with CCRR and have access to all our services. This course covers important topics in children's development, guiding behaviour, health and safety requirements, as well as skills in managing the business (licensing, budgeting) of providing child care in your home.

Looking for child care? We assist families in finding quality child care facilities that meet their individual needs. CCRR provides referrals to licensed child care providers and/or licensed not required child care providers.
Child Care Subsidy Application and Guides are available at the CCRR office. If you need assistance with the application CCRR staff is available to help.
Interested in working from home? CCRR will assist you in the process of becoming a registered LNR care provider.
CCRR assists care providers with consultations, professional development, training, networking, resources and referrals to your child care facility. We have a lending library filled with toys, theme boxes, and resource books. We offer a regular newsletter filled with local child care information as well as what’s happening around the province.
